The Karlsruhe-Baden Airport is 30 km away from Karlsruhe. With the shuttlebus Hahn-express, it is very easy to get from the airport to Central Station, and from there by tram to the event site.
To fly to the Karlsruhe-Baden airport you can use some cheap budget airlines like Ryanair and Air Berlin.
From Karlsruhe-Baden airport, there are also some alternative possiblilities to come to the center of Karlsruhe:
- Bus 234 to Rastatt Trainstation (Bahnhof)
- Train from Rastatt to Karlsruhe Mainstation (Hauptbahnhof)
or
- Bus 205 to Trainstation Baden Baden
- Train from Baden Baden to Karlsruhe Mainstation (Hauptbahnhof)
By public transport
From Hauptbahnhof Karlsruhe (Mainstation):
- Take the tram line 4
- Exit the station "Fächerbad".
